100 Things To Do at the Jersey Shore Online Event w/Author RC Staab

Join author RC Staab online (details below) for a reading and signing of his new book, 100 THINGS TO DO AT THE JERSEY SHORE BEFORE YOU DIE.

Author Staab is offering to do a socially distanced book signing immediately following the online event--here are the details he provided:

Author RC Staab is offering social distance signing post author talk. Here are the details from the author :

* I’ll set up outside the store, with me sitting in the doorway and the table on the sidewalk, essentially blocking the entrance.

* At 6pm I’ll do the Zoom presentation so people can either watch/listen from home or from the sidewalk (like a remote radio broadcast). I have a 20-minute talk and then we can open up for questions from people online or in person.

* For any interaction with people, I’ll be separated by the table and ask people to keep their distance.

* I’ll stay later to sign if we have requests emailed in during the presentation.

About the Book

Ever thought you could climb inside a giant elephant or stroll the world’s most famous Boardwalk? How about observe a vast migration at North America’s No. 1 birding destination or discover the town known by seven U.S. presidents as the “Nation’s Summer Capital”? Whether you’ve spent many summers at the Jersey Shore or you’re looking for your next beach vacation, find the best places to thrill, eat, fish, party and swim on the 130 miles of the New Jersey shoreline from the Sandy Hook Lighthouse to Cape May Point.

While the Jersey Shore is known as a destination where salt water taffy and frozen custard ice cream were born, Miss America was crowned and “The Twist” was invented, this book helps you dive deeper into Shore life to enhance your summer vacation. Learn about fun ideas for your family on rainy days, find free beaches (and parking) and choose the hottest nightclubs. Beyond the summer, this guide helps you enjoy the Shore year-round. Discover fall foliage at historic battlefields, take a brisk walk in the winter with a llama or hear the hottest rock bands at the legendary Stone Pony.

About the Author
From his first vacation as boy in Stone Harbor, R.C. Staab has returned to the Jersey Shore often, as a homeowner in Brigantine to the south and now in Sea Bright to the north. For more than 40 years, he has written for, been quoted by and had his photos published in numerous Philadelphia publications, USA Today, the New York Times and the LA Times. With Mario Lopez, he recently co-authored a children’s picture book, I’m My Own Dog. I’m Jack about his forever dog. In the past decade, he has written musicals that have been produced in New York, San Francisco and England. On the weekends, you can find him biking, running, paddle boarding, swimming and falling off his surfboard on the Jersey Shore. He hopes you’ll join him – except for the falling-off-the-board part.

Asbury Book Cooperative is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
